Choose a grand loop through Scotland or a bold sweep across Wales, each shaped at a calm pace with a friendly driver-guide. In Scotland, think Edinburgh’s Old Town closes, Stirling’s hilltop walls, and the quiet light over Loch Lomond and the Trossachs. If the day is clear, we carry on to Glencoe for broad valleys and steep ridges; if the weather turns, we add warm stops for short walks, tea and views that still feel special.
In Wales, castle lines and sea air set the tone. Conwy’s walls, Caernarfon’s towers and the slate-grey heights of Eryri (Snowdonia) make a fine, varied day. On calmer routes we cross the Menai Strait to Anglesey for coast paths and neat harbours; in South Wales we link Cardiff, Caerphilly and the green folds of Bannau Brycheiniog (Brecon Beacons). Each path is planned to keep driving smooth, stops unhurried and stories clear.
This tour works as a full day from a local base (Edinburgh/Glasgow for Scotland; Cardiff/Conwy for Wales) or as a simple multi-day from London, with rail links set by us and pick-up at the far end. We book trusted stays on request, keep timings fair, and adjust for light, tides and traffic so your hours are rich, not rushed.
