Begin your day at Windsor Castle, the oldest and largest lived-in castle in the world. Stroll the Upper Ward and, if open, step into the State Apartments to see fine rooms, paintings and craft. At St George’s Chapel, pause at the resting place of kings and queens. We keep timings clear and calm, with time for a coffee on quaint Windsor streets before we head west.
Next comes the wide plain and ancient ring of Stonehenge. Walk the outer path for full views, learn the simple facts and deeper stories, and feel the quiet of the landscape. Tickets are timed; we handle the planning so you are not rushed. On request, and if available, we can apply for Stonehenge special access (Inner Circle) on select dates; numbers are very limited and must be arranged well in advance.
Finish in honey-coloured Bath, where Georgian terraces curve like theatre sets. See the Royal Crescent, The Circus, and the Pulteney Bridge over the Avon. If you wish, visit the Roman Baths (ticket needed) and enjoy a gentle walk to hidden lanes for tea or a quick late lunch. We then return to London in comfort, with a short comfort stop on the way back.
